Outreach Task Force
The NOPSSCEA Community Outreach program was organized to plan and implement a novel and innovative undertaking in response to the need for educational enhancement, food production and means of livelihood for the deprived and underprivileged sector of society.
The program hopes to provide learning activities for those unable to avail of educational services and formal education programs, undertake means for expanding access to educational opportunity to people of various interest and skills and provide opportunities for the acquisition of skills to enhance and ensure productivity,work competitiveness, income generation and livelihood.
The Outreach Task Force plans to adopt a barangay to implement various community projects of the association. The selection of the barangay will be held after the selection of community outreach representatives of the different schools. Dr. Angelina Guinanao, Outreach Task Force head, said her area will start this quarter backyard swine and goat fattening projects. The initial activities will also be tapping the services of veterinarians and technicians as well as piglet immunization and literacy and livelihood programs.
